"It's America's forever muscle car." That's Keith Rose's description of the Ford Mustang, but his approach is quite different than many Mustang owners. "Most people want the GT, with the 4.6-liter V-8. But for me, I found this V-6 and it fits right into what I want — something unique, but still quick," Rose said.

Turkey carving contest

Nine area restaurants participated in a turkey carving contest at the House of Bread. The chefs and local business partners prepared the turkeys for the mayor's Dinner that follows later in the day. Participating restaurants: Christophers, Amelia's, BW3/Milano's, Bar Louie, Rue Dumaine, Amber Rose, Broad Street Grill, Bullwinkle's, Bahn Mai.

Holiday of Lights in Oakwood

The City of Oakwood held its Holiday of Lights Festival Sunday evening, December 14, at Shafor Park with the main event being the lighting of the holiday tree. Luminaria lined streets, Oakwood High School band played holiday tunes and the Mini Pops entertained the crowd.
